Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

Check the other device, the WAN status of the router, reboot it and the PC; if the problem is the same on all devices, contact the supplier.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Common network connectivity check

Compare with another device and via Ethernet; if not working everywhere, check WAN and provider.

    Steps to follow

    1. Open two different known websites on your computer and check if they really open.
    2. Turn off mobile data on your phone and connect it to the same Wi-Fi; check the same sites.
    3. If it works on the phone, the problem is more related to the computer. If nowhere, check your router and provider; the status icon alone does not confirm a failure.
  2. Re-login

If the problem is only on one device, check its connection and reboot it.

    Steps to follow

    1. Press the Windows logo key and I together on your keyboard to open Settings.
    2. Select "Network and Internet".
    3. Select Wi-Fi.
    4. Select "Manage known networks".
    5. First, take care of your Wi-Fi password.
    6. Select your network and "Forget".
    7. Select it again in the list of networks, enter the password and check the sites. If the work network is managed, contact the administrator.
  3. Rebooting the router

If the local network works but the WAN is stuck, reboot your device according to the manual without using a factory reset.

    Steps to follow

    1. Choose a time when other network users will not be disturbed by the connection interruption.
    2. According to the router manual, only disconnect the power without pressing Reset.
    3. Wait for the time specified in the manual, often about half a minute, plug in and wait for full power up.
    4. Check the connection on multiple devices. If the problem remains everywhere, contact the supplier; reset and reboot are different actions.

If the problem persists

Test the Ethernet connection and compare the status of the WAN indicators with the model manual. If there is no connection in the entire network, provide the supplier with the time of the failure; do not restore factory settings immediately.
