Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

Check the IP address, DHCP and router connection with the provider; try another device to distinguish between network and computer failure.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Another network comparison

If the connection is limited to this computer only, try the phone's access point.

    Steps to follow

    1. Enable a personal Wi-Fi hotspot on your phone and write down its name and password.
    2. Select that network from the PC's Wi-Fi list and connect.
    3. Try the same sites or wait until it disconnects again. For comparison, consider the mobile data limit.
    4. If the other network works, check the first network; if not, PC adapter or settings.
  2. Shared network and DHCP check

If the problem is everywhere, check IP acquisition, WAN and provider; factory reset is not the first step.

    Steps to follow

    1. Compare the same cable or Wi-Fi with another device.
    2. If it works elsewhere, check the network adapter error and model driver in your PC's Device Manager.
    3. If it doesn't work on all devices, check the WAN indicator according to the router manual and call the supplier with the time of the failure.
    4. Do not perform a factory reset without setup data.

If the problem persists

If the connection is limited to only one computer, compare with a phone hotspot. If on all devices, check the router's WAN and provider; network reset is not the first step.
