Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
Some robots deliberately repeat zones based on dirt or selected passes. If the trajectory suddenly became chaotic, check the mode, wheel grip and the map. A simpler robot without mapping will not have neat parallel lines in all situations.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Cleaning mode comparison
Distinguish between set repetition and error.
Steps to follow
- Check the number of passes, cross-cleaning and smart re-washing of dirty areas, if enabled.
- Choose one simple room task with one pass.
- Clear visible floor objects and launch from the base without lifting the robot during operation.
- Compare the actual movement with the route recorded in cleaning history, and note where unnecessary repetition begins.
Traction and navigation check
Sliding wheels can change the robot's location estimation.
Steps to follow
- After switching off, clean the tread of the wheels and the accessible sensor boxes.
- Check that the floor is not slippery or very wet after the previous cleaning.
- If the map is overlapped, restore the correct version after removing the reflections and base location issues.
- If it repeats in a dry free room, give the model, mode and trajectory to service.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the route has changed suddenly and repeats itself in different rooms, a navigation and wheel check is required. Do not capture a new distorted map until the cause is clear.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
