Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
Incorrect location of the base on the map can occur after relocation or misidentification of the location. Do not reset the base after each failed attempt: the robot needs a stable reference point.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Comparison between the actual location and the previous map
Determine if the base has actually been moved.
Steps to follow
- Capture the wrong location of the base in the screenshot of the app.
- Check that the base has not been moved or rotated, and return it to its previous position if it is safe and suitable for the plan.
- Clear the driveway and check the mirrors on the floor.
- Run a short quest from the base and let it return automatically.
Restoring the map after cleaning up the environment
Avoid accidental redraw on the wrong plan.
Steps to follow
- If the app allows, restore the last correct map with the correct base location.
- If you need to leave the base in a new location, use the official model transfer or remap procedure.
- Check the boundaries of rooms and restricted areas after the change.
- If the inaccuracy returns, submit the results of both tests to support rather than continue to move the base in an attempt to guess the location.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the base constantly "jumps" without moving, check reflections, wheel slip and navigation sensors. Submit the maps saved before and after the work to the service.
