How to fix the problem
An LDS turret error can be caused by an obscured navigation part or a malfunctioning rotating assembly. Do not remove the top cover or spray grease into the laser unit. Check for external obstructions first.

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Removal of visible obstacles
Clean only the external areas accessible in the instructions.
Steps to follow
- Turn off the robot and check that there is no object, film or hair wrapped around the turret.
- Clean the outer window of the sensor with a soft dry cloth without pressing it deeply.
- Check that the robot is not stuck under a piece of furniture that is pressing on the top.
- Place it in a free space and run one short task, watching for the error to reoccur.
Reboot and check for the model
Error numbers vary between manufacturers.
Steps to follow
- Write down the exact bot and message; Do not confuse the LDS error with any other Error 1.
- Reload only in the normal sequence provided by the manufacturer without deleting the maps.
- If the manual allows for additional user verification, perform only that; do not forcefully rotate the laser mechanism.
- If the error remains on the free floor, provide the service with a short note and the error code.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the scanner does not turn on, an unusual sound is heard or the error is repeated, its drive and electronics need to be checked. Jumpstarting offered online is not user service.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
