Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
The L10 Pro's obstacle detection system has practical limits: dark, low or irregular objects may be judged differently. However, the sudden ignoring of most obstacles must be tested in isolation from a single complex object.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Checking the exterior and settings of the sensors
Use the L10 Pro schematic, not another model.
Steps to follow
- Stop the robot and wipe the front detection windows with a soft dry cloth.
- Check that there is no protective film or added accessory that restricts visibility.
- Check the model's obstacle avoidance setting in the app, if provided.
- Inspect a normal non-threatening object in a free space without holding your hand in front of the moving robot.
Separation of complex object and common failure
Compare some safe common barriers.
Steps to follow
- Compare a dark and light object of similar size without risking shattering objects.
- If only one item is the problem, move it out of the way or make it a no-go zone.
- If various items are poorly detected, check buffer progress and official updates.
- If there is no change, please provide the model version and safe test record to support.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the robot hits clear walls and common obstacles after the sensor check, bumper and navigation diagnostics are required. Do not attach a thick guard that covers the sensors or prevents the movement of the bumper.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
