The dock does not detect a filled clean-water tank

Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

A low water or tank not inserted error can also occur with a full tank if it is incorrectly installed or the level detection is not working. First, check the design of the model tank, the float and the outside of the valve.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Checking the position and filling of the tank

Make sure you are checking the clean-water tank, not the dirty-water tank.

    Steps to follow

    1. Stop the robot and remove the tank according to the manufacturer's markings.
    2. Add the allowed water to the intended level without exceeding the MAX.
    3. Check the cover, the handle and whether the gasket has fallen out; insert the tank fully into its place.
    4. Check the status in the app and start one allowed wash preparation.
  2. External inspection of the float and connector

Do not bypass the detection system.

    Steps to follow

    1. According to the diagram of the specific tank, check the accessible float and its free movement.
    2. Inspect the external valve or connection point, remove only visible dirt in an acceptable manner.
    3. If the part has fallen out, cracked or the magnet is missing, record it in the photo and do not experiment again.
    4. If everything is in place, but the error remains, provide the exact model, message and photo of the tank to the service.

Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.

If the problem persists

If the magnet is missing, the float is damaged, or the error remains with the correct tank, call for a part or sensor check. Do not add more than the MAX mark and do not add an external magnet.

Request a repair

Before you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
