How to fix the problem
A dry floor may indicate the wrong mode is selected, too little moisture or a non-functioning water supply. First, check if the cloth gets wet at first or if it stays dry all the time. Different robots deliver water differently.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Washing mode check
Differentiate a disabled wash from a malfunction.
Steps to follow
- Select a mode in the app that clearly provides for floor washing, not just vacuuming.
- Check that the correct model cloth, holder and required water tank are installed.
- Choose an average allowable moisture and a small hard floor area; do not soak sensitive surfaces.
- After a short run, stop and check the mop safely without touching moving parts.
Separation of the water supply chain
Station washing and water on the floor can be different paths.
Steps to follow
- Fill the clean water tank with the water allowed in the manual up to the mark and close it properly.
- If there is an automatic stop, start the cloth wash in the app and watch if the water reaches the tray.
- If the tray is wet, but the robot is soon washing dry, record this difference for internal tank diagnostics.
- If there is no water in the tray as well, check the tank of the station and its installation; do not disassemble the internal pumps.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If water does not flow even with the correct settings, properly installed tank and clean accessible connections, the pump or valve needs to be checked. Do not inject air into the waterway or puncture the valves.
