Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
A Clean Base leak message can be bag, lid, channel or software related. Check the base model and bot version together: a software patch for another series is not proof that it is suitable for i7.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Bag and lid closure
Disconnect the base before maintenance.
Steps to follow
- Turn off the robot and disconnect the power to the Clean Base.
- Check that the hard connection of the bag is inserted correctly and that the bag itself is not damaged.
- Remove any visible debris from the lid and sealing areas using a dry method.
- Close without force and after plugging in check the one empty cycle allowed on the app.
Channel and model specific program check
Do not follow the instructions for another series of firmware.
Steps to follow
- Check the drain hole in the robot box and the user-accessible base channel in the manual.
- If there is a jam, remove it only by disconnecting the power as permitted.
- Only check the official updates offered for the i7 and your base model; don't take the release notes of other series as a diagnosis of the i7.
- If the message remains, please provide the base code, bag type and error text to service.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the error remains with the correct bag and lid in order, ask for a leak check of the base. Do not try to start the base while holding down the lid sensor.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
