How to fix the problem
Visible dust around the bag compartment or seams may indicate a leak, damaged bag, or incorrect assembly. Stop emptying: dust must not be blown into the room through improper connection.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Sealing of bag and lid
Check more than just the fullness of the bag.
Steps to follow
- Disconnect the stop and safely remove the bag following the instructions for closing it.
- Check that the bag is not torn and its connection is not damaged; replace the wrong one with the right one.
- Clean the sealing surface of the lid in a dry manner without pushing dust into the electronics.
- Insert a new bag and close the compartment without force.
Determining the exit location
Do one test only if there is no obvious failure.
Steps to follow
- Check that the robot box and its drain hole are correctly assembled.
- If there is no more dust, check the floor around the base after one cycle.
- If the bulge is visible again, turn it off and photograph the area; don't repeat cycles.
- Please provide the base model, bag code and dust outlet location for service. Keep people with respiratory sensitivities away from the test.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the properly assembled base still allows dust, a leak check of the housing and air path is required. Do not plug the dust outlet or install a homemade additional filter that can block the flow.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
