Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
A brief loud vacuum may be normal, but a new whistling, scratching or significantly longer cycle should be investigated. Compare with previous performance and make sure the power setting has not changed.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Setting and tightness check
Start with the outer assembly.
Steps to follow
- In the app, write down the emptying mode and whether it has recently been changed to a more intensive one.
- Unplug the base and check that the bag fits and the bag holder is all the way in.
- Inspect the seal of the dust compartment cover and remove any debris left on the gasket.
- Close the base and if there are no dangerous signs, check for one short cycle.
Jam and sound capture
Do not repeat long cycles with a blocked airflow path.
Steps to follow
- After turning off and unplugging, check only the accessible drain channel specified in the manual.
- Remove the jammed hair or paper jam without sharp tools in the electrical part.
- If the sound remains, record one cycle from a safe distance and record its duration.
- Submit the video for diagnostics. Do not cover the stop with a cloth in an attempt to silence it, as this reduces ventilation.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If you hear a metallic sound, smell burning or the station is hot, turn it off and unplug it. Leave the inspection of the motor and electrical part to the service.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
