Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
Foam can be caused by improper or overdosed detergent, as well as previous chemicals left on the floor. Foam can interfere with wastewater level detection and cause overflow. Do not add additional chemicals to extinguish the foam.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Disposal of the wrong solution
Stop the wash first.
Steps to follow
- Stop the task and remove the clean and dirty water tanks as instructed.
- Write down which tool and how much of it was used; this is important for further inspection.
- Pour out the solution and rinse only the permitted removable parts with clean water without pouring the base.
- Rinse the fabrics free of any residual agent and inspect the tray before assembly.
Floor and dosing inspection
The source of the foam is not necessarily the tank itself.
Steps to follow
- Check that there is no hand cleaner or cleaner film left on the floor.
- If the robot only allows washing with water, do not add to its tank even chemicals of the same brand intended for another device.
- If the model has a separate cartridge, do not pour its contents directly into the water tank without the permission of the instructions.
- Only test one small area after cleaning the foam and making sure the electrical part has not gotten wet.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If foam has gotten inside the base or water has spilled on the power, do not connect it again until it is checked. In the future, use only the tool allowed for the specific model and only in the intended location.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
