Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
T20 OMNI hot water function for washing cloths at the station; it is not a promise that the robot will touch hot water on the floor all the time. First, distinguish between normal operation and base heating failure.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Function purpose check
Don't judge heating based on floor temperature alone.
Steps to follow
- Check the T20 OMNI manual for the purpose of the hot water function and the permitted modes.
- In the app, compare washing the cloths in the base with the normal task of washing the floor.
- If the floor is not hot, but the base completes the cycle without error, this does not in itself prove a heating failure.
- Check the cleaning result and moisture according to the rules of the floor covering manufacturer.
Checking for true base wash failure
Check condition, no hot internal parts.
Steps to follow
- Check the water tanks and select the scheduled cloth wash in the app.
- Monitor the status of the loop and the error text, if any.
- If the cycle stops, record the stage and software version.
- Do not repeat heating tests with an error; provide data to Ecovacs Support.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the app supports hot wash cloths, but the base reports a heating error or the cycle stops, call for diagnostics. Do not put your hand into the operating base to check the temperature or pour boiling water.
