Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
A robot that does not respond at all may be discharged, switched off at its main switch, or receiving no power from the dock. Check external power first. Do not charge the device if its battery is swollen, there are signs of a liquid leak, or you notice a burning smell.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Station power check
Separate the robot and power issue.
Steps to follow
- Check the outlet with another safe device; unplug unnecessary extension cords.
- Check that the stand cable is fully inserted and that the model-specific adapter is used.
- According to the manual, check the robot's main switch, if there is one, and the use of the power button.
- Place the robot on the contacts and watch if the charging signal appears; not all stops are constantly lit.
Charging after a long period of non-use
Let it recover for normal charging without breaking the battery.
Steps to follow
- Unplug the station and clean the charging contacts of the station and the robot with a dry, soft cloth.
- Connect the power and place the robot correctly without pressing the contacts with force.
- Leave to charge for the time specified in the manufacturer's instructions, watching for unusual heating.
- If there is no reaction or the robot heats up abnormally, stop the test and call for diagnostics.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If there is no reaction with the tested power supply, provide the model and indicator behavior to the service. Do not recharge the battery with an external power source or bypass its protection.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
