Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

Entering the station does not yet guarantee electrical contact. Charging can be disturbed by dirty contacts, incorrect position of the robot or the power supply of the station. First, check that the app is really showing charging and not just standing on the base.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Cleaning contacts

Do the work with the power off.

    Steps to follow

    1. Remove the robot, turn it off according to the manual and disconnect the station from the power supply.
    2. Clean the open charging contacts on the robot and base with a dry, soft cloth; do not use wet spray.
    3. Check the contacts for any protective sticker or debris.
    4. Reattach the base and build the robot; check the charging status and the increasing percentage later in the app.
  2. Position and base check

The robot needs to be firmly attached to the contacts.

    Steps to follow

    1. Place the stand on a flat, hard surface according to the model's clearance requirements.
    2. Check that there is no cable, carpet edge or bent part of the wash pan under the wheel.
    3. Start the return to stop command from a short distance instead of pressing the robot hard with your hands.
    4. If a specific charging error code is displayed, write it down and check the manual for your specific model.

Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.

If the problem persists

If the contact remains unstable or burns are visible, do not grind the contacts or insert foil. Check the condition of the stop, contact springs and battery at the service center.

Request a repair

Before you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
