Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
A filter error may remain after improper cleaning if the filter is still wet, deformed or clogged with fine dust. Not all robot filters can be washed. Check the part instruction first.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Proper preparation of the filter
Do not return the wet filter to the robot.
Steps to follow
- Turn off the robot and remove the filter according to the manual.
- If it is not washable, dry clean only or replace it.
- If washing, follow the instructions and dry naturally until completely dry, not with a hot hair dryer.
- Check the condition of the frame and place it in the correct direction, then run a short test.
Comparison of new filter and air path
Separate wear and tear from another problem.
Steps to follow
- If the filter is disintegrated, creased, or severely clogged, use a new part for the exact model.
- Clean the dust box and only the accessible suction holes.
- Make sure the job does not include moisture from the floor in vacuum mode.
- If the error remains, write down the code and indicate that a suitable dry new filter has already been tried.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the error recurs with a new, suitable filter, check the box, air duct and motor for leaks. Don't remove the filter in an attempt to "prove" it's to blame; thus dust can enter the motor.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
