One Roborock Qrevo mop holder does not rotate

Topic #499 · Updated · Pataisoma.lt

Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

The problem of a single cloth must be separated from the entire washing regime. The fabric may be creased, the holder may be incorrectly inserted, or the drive may be jammed. The red indicator on the base does not in itself indicate the motor of the mop.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Fit the mop pad and holder correctly

Only check the powered off robot.

    Steps to follow

    1. Stop work, turn off the robot and remove the user mount according to your Qrevo manual.
    2. Check for tangles, folds in the fabric and cleanliness of the center joint.
    3. Insert the correct bracket to the intended lock without using force.
    4. Run a small washing job on a hard floor and observe both sides from a safe distance.
  2. Mode and Repetitive Side Check

Not every stall means a broken motor.

    Steps to follow

    1. Check that the robot is actually washing and not returning to the base or performing the next phase of the movement.
    2. Note if the same side always fails and if there is a clicking sound.
    3. Reboot normally and check for official model updates.
    4. If the difference remains, submit a record for service. Do not solve the stop water error by replacing the wiper motor without diagnostics.

Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.

If the problem persists

If one gear does not work with the correct clean carrier, it needs to be diagnosed. Do not force the holder to rotate or try the robot in upside down mode.

Request a repair

Before you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
