Ecovacs DEEBOT T30 moves in mopping mode but leaves the floor dry

Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

Check the T30 dry cleaning according to its exact version and kit base. First, determine whether the wipes do not get wet even at the stop, or whether they dry out afterwards. These cases require different checks.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Mode and moisture check

Start with a small safe area.

    Steps to follow

    1. In the app, check the exact version of T30 and select the task in which washing is really activated.
    2. Check that the cloths are placed correctly and the clean water tank is prepared according to the manual.
    3. Run one normal cloth wash on the base and wait for it to finish.
    4. Compare the moisture of the cloths before leaving and after a short work.
  2. Water path and error check

Separate the functions of the base and the robot.

    Steps to follow

    1. Write down if there is a decrease in clean water in the base and if there is wastewater.
    2. If the base also remains dry, check the position of the tank and the external user connections with the power off.
    3. If it washes at the base, but not at work, submit this difference for diagnostics of the internal water supply.
    4. Do not use pressure blasting or unauthorized chemicals; contact support after one clear attempt.

Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.

If the problem persists

If there is no water even after a proper task and inspection of the tanks, a diagnosis of the supply system is required. Do not blindly apply other T30 variants or X-series service commands.
