Dreame D10 Plus does not empty its bin after cleaning

Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

D10 Plus automatic emptying depends on base, bag and return conditions. First, compare automatic and app-enabled manual emptying. A normal D10 without such a base needs to be evaluated differently.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Automation and do not disturb settings

Check the operating conditions of the specific D10 Plus.

    Steps to follow

    1. Check the activation and frequency of automatic emptying in the app.
    2. Check that the cycle is not limited by the DND time or other default setting.
    3. Run a small task from the base and let the robot return on its own.
    4. If allowed, compare the manual flush command and note the result.
  2. Bag and D10 Plus channel inspection

    Disconnect power before maintenance.

    Steps to follow

    1. Check that the correct bag is fully inserted and the lid is closed correctly.
    2. Empty the robot's box and examine its intended emptying hole.
    3. According to the specific D10 Plus instructions, remove only the accessible duct plug.
    4. After assembly, check one cycle. If the sound is present and the debris does not move, do not repeat long cycles again and ask for an inspection.

Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.

If the problem persists

If the manual cycle also does not work, a base tightness, channel or motor check is required. Do not use the base without a bag or bypass the lid detection.
