Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
The Braava jet m6 is a floor cleaning robot, so first check that the wet pad is recognized and the tank is ready. This is different from robots that feed water directly to spinning mops.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Sole and tank inspection
A dry cleaning pad should not be considered a water failure.
Steps to follow
- Check the exact model of the m6 and the purpose of the selected sole according to its markings.
- Install a suitable wet cleaning pad and make sure its mounting surface is clean.
- Prepare the contents of the tank only according to the m6 manual, properly close and install.
- Run a small hard floor cleaning task and watch the robot try to spray.
Inspection of nozzle exterior and error
Do not touch the operating spray assembly.
Steps to follow
- Stop and turn off the robot before cleaning the outside of the front nozzle.
- Remove any visible dirt with a soft cloth without inserting the needle deep into the valve.
- Perform a normal reboot of the model and write down the app message if it appears.
- If water does not spray, provide support with pad type, tank condition, and one test result.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If a suitable wet cleaning pad is identified, the tank is installed and there is no spray, a water path and pump check is required. Do not drill the nozzle or pour aggressive limescale remover without model instructions.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
