The printer says "Paper Jam" even though there is no paper

1. Paper path inspection

   Shut down according to the manual and check the accessible areas for patches or an open cover.

   Steps to follow

   1. Turn off the printer according to its manual and wait for the hot parts to cool down.
   2. Open only the user covers specified in the manual and inspect for paper scraps.
   3. Pull the paper only in the direction indicated, without force, and make sure all covers are closed.
   4. Turn it on and check the error. If there is no paper, do not disassemble the mechanism or sensor.

2. Sensor or mechanism repair

   If the error remains without paper, an inspection is required; do not disassemble the hot fuse assembly.

   Steps to follow

   1. Run only the internal test allowed by the manufacturer and save its sheet and error text.
   2. Turn off according to the manual; do not touch the hot laser fuse assembly, drum, or inaccessible sensors.
   3. Write down the model and cartridge code, take a picture of the tapes or feed error.
   4. Submit information to service. Checking the internal mechanism, sensor, drum, or worn feed assembly is not a universal procedure for the home button.
