Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

In the print dialog, select "Print on both sides" / Duplex, if the printer supports it; otherwise, it is possible to manually turn the pages according to the instructions.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Automatic two-sided printing

If the model supports duplex, select printing on both sides and the appropriate flip margin.

    Steps to follow

    1. In the PDF Print window, select your printer that supports duplex.
    2. Turn on Print on both sides and select long edge for the long edge flip or short edge for the corresponding layout.
    3. Test with two pages and check that the second side has not turned over; only then print the entire document.
  2. Manual page flipping

If duplex is not available, follow the manual pattern procedure and try two pages first.

    Steps to follow

    1. Check manual duplexing and sheet return direction according to the model manual.
    2. First, print only two test pages according to the software's manual duplex wizard.
    3. Flip and place as the wizard and pattern instructs. Check sides against a larger batch; there is no one-size-fits-all direction for all printers.

If the problem persists

First, try double-sided printing with two pages to choose the long or short flip edge. For manual mode, set the sheet orientation according to the feed order of the particular printer.
