Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
The puddle under the body is different from a normally wetted floor. A leak can be caused by a tank, a gasket, an incorrectly placed tray or an internal waterway. If water has reached electrical parts, do not turn them on again.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Safe leak stop
Do not start a new wash until the cause is clear.
Steps to follow
- Stop the robot and disconnect the power safely without touching the wet connector.
- If it is safe to do so according to the instructions, remove the removable tanks and store them separately on a suitable surface.
- Collect the water from outside and take a picture of where it came from.
- If the liquid got under the base or in the body of the robot, do not operate again until inspection.
Inspection of removable tanks and tray
External inspection only without pressure testing.
Steps to follow
- Check tank seams, caps and gaskets for cracks and leaks.
- Compare the tank and tray installation with the diagram for your model.
- Check that the fill mark has not been exceeded and that a high foaming agent has not been used.
- Replace the damaged tank with a suitable one; if everything looks normal, send photos and symptoms to service before next power up.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If the source of the leak is unclear, the tank is cracked, or water is leaking from a closed housing, repair is required. Do not cover the leak with a thicker mat or sealant near the electrical part.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
