How to fix the problem
0xA00F4244 NoCamerasAreAttached means that the Camera application does not see an available camera. First, check for a physical shutdown and that the device is visible to Windows. Just changing the permissions won't help if the camera system doesn't detect it at all.

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Physical switches and camera visibility
The camera is turned off differently in different models.
Steps to follow
- Check out the camera screen saver, the side privacy switch, and the key with the camera symbol. Check your computer manual for Fn.
- If the camera is USB, connect directly to another suitable outlet without a hub.
- Right-click Start > Device Manager and check the "Cameras" and "Video devices" sections. Write down the error symbol or code.
- If the camera is not available, select "Check for hardware changes" from the menu. If not, continue to check model support, not program filters.
Permissions and manufacturer driver
Good when the device is visible but not accessible by the app.
Steps to follow
- In Windows Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera, enable the required access for the device and the app you are using.
- Close other calling and virtual camera applications and try Windows Camera.
- Check the camera, chipset, and privacy feature packages on your computer manufacturer's page for your exact model.
- After installing the correct package, reboot. If the problem started after a specific driver update, check the official refund option.
If the problem persists
If the camera does not appear even after the correct updates for the model or disappears when the cover is moved, the camera, cable and connector should be checked. An external USB camera may help temporarily, but does not fix the internal failure.
