Troubleshooting guide

How to fix the problem

Settings > System > Display > Screen resolution. Choose "Recommended" if the text is blurry.

Possible solutions

Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.

  1. Recommended resolution

In Display settings, select Recommended for specific monitor.

    Steps to follow

    1. Press the Windows logo key and I together on your keyboard to open Settings.
    2. Select "System".
    3. Select "Display".
    4. If there are several screens, select the desired one in the diagram.
    5. Find "Screen resolution" and select the value labeled "Recommended".
    6. If the image is good, confirm the save; if it's gone, wait for automatic return.
  2. Cable and driver check

If the correct resolution is not available, try a direct connection and the appropriate graphics driver for your model.

    Steps to follow

    1. Turn off the devices and connect the display directly without the dock if there is a suitable socket.
    2. Select the correct Input on the monitor and turn on the devices.
    3. Start right > Device Manager > Display adapters check the name. If you see Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, you need a model graphics driver from the manufacturer.
    4. After installing and rebooting, double-check the recommended resolution in Display Settings.

If the problem persists

If the recommended resolution is not available, connect the display directly and install the drivers for it and the video card manufacturer. After the change, if the image disappears, wait for the automatic return of the settings.
