Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
"Anti-tangle" doesn't mean you never need to clean your brush. Long hair can accumulate at the ends and on the drive side. It is also important to remove them in time because of the mechanical load.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Regular safe cleaning
Do not clean the rotating brush.
Steps to follow
- Stop and switch off the robot, remove the user cover and the brush.
- Only cut hair and threads with the manufacturer's tool, not rubber bands or bristles.
- Clean the removable end caps only if the manual allows.
- Assemble and check for free operation on a hard surface with no unusual sound.
Selection of cleaning frequency and portion
Match the care to the actual amount of hair.
Steps to follow
- Check the brush more often after the first jobs and determine how often the hair starts to get in the way.
- Before cleaning, collect large clumps of hair and long threads from the floor.
- If the manufacturer offers a different brush type for a specific model, check the code and cover requirements.
- After changing the attachment, monitor the cleaning quality and sound. Do not install an incompatible accessory by force.
Features, menus and error codes depend on the exact robot and dock model and software version. Instructions for another series may not apply.
If the problem persists
If hair has gotten into the closed gear or damaged the retainer, repair is required. A random aftermarket cutting brush may not fit your model; only assemble the accessory according to the approved compatibility.
Request a repairBefore you begin: Before maintenance, stop and switch off the robot and unplug the dock. Do not touch moving parts during operation. If liquid reaches electrical components or the battery is damaged, do not power the device on again until it has been inspected.
