Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
AIO is a closed liquid-cooled CPU system. If the temperature quickly reaches the limit as soon as it is turned on, do not continue with games or load tests: a malfunctioning pump or a bad contact can leave the processor with almost no cooling.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Temperature and pump readings
Briefly check the status without additional load.
Steps to follow
- Stop the load. If the computer shuts down due to heat or shows signs of leakage, do not run the computer again for the diagnostic test.
- If safe, launch BIOS hardware monitor and record CPU temperature and CPU_FAN / AIO_PUMP RPM.
- If the temperature is rapidly rising to the CPU limit, shut down without waiting for the other checks to complete.
- Check if your cooler is transmitting pump RPM to BIOS at all; some show it in a separate manufacturer's app.
Connection check with power off
Disconnect the power or signal cable from the faulty pump.
Steps to follow
- Turn it off, disconnect the power cord and open the cooler's installation manual.
- According to it, check the SATA / USB / board connections of the pump. Not every AIO is powered by the AIO_PUMP cable alone.
- Inspect for fluid leaks, damaged hoses, or a loose block. If you notice a leak, do not turn it on again.
- If the connections are correct and there is no cooling, replace or repair the assembly at the service center. Do not open or fill the closed system arbitrarily.
If the problem persists
If the pump operation is not confirmed or the temperature rises suddenly even at rest, turn off the computer and repair the cooling. Zero revolutions can also mean that the speed signal is not connected, so this number alone is not enough to confirm a pump failure.
