How to fix the problem

Video signal recovery
Try the simple steps without rewriting the system.
Steps to follow
- Use the monitor buttons to select the exact DisplayPort input instead of automatic input selection.
- In Windows, press Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B once and wait to see if the image returns.
- If necessary, turn off the monitor itself and turn it on again; power cycle it according to the manufacturer's manual.
- If the display is via a dock, compare direct connection. When the image appears, save your work before further attempts.
Deep Sleep and cable check
Differentiate monitor sleep feature from bad connection.
Steps to follow
- Make a note of your monitor model and current power saving setting.
- If the manual says "DisplayPort Deep Sleep" or something similar, temporarily change it according to the instructions and repeat the sleep test.
- Compare another DisplayPort cable of the correct specification without an adapter or extender.
- If one change helps, retest it. If it doesn't help, revert to the previous setting and check for official updates.
If the problem persists
If the problem recurs with another suitable cable and direct connection, check the model monitor firmware and graphics driver patches. If the screen does not wake up with another computer, its diagnostics are required.
