How to fix the problem
Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard > Sticky keys. Also check the quick activation by pressing Shift five times.
If the problem persists
Also check the Filter Keys and Toggle Keys options. If Shift seems to be held down continuously, try a different keyboard to isolate the setting from a stuck physical key.
Request a repair
