Troubleshooting guide
How to fix the problem
Turn on the personal access point (Hotspot) on the phone, connect via Wi-Fi or USB on the computer. Please note the data limit.
Possible solutions
Choose the method that matches your situation. Start with the simplest suitable option and check the result. If the problem is fixed, you do not need to continue with the other methods.
Your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot
Turn on Hotspot and connect your computer to a supported band.
Steps to follow
- Open the personal access point in the phone settings: Android may be called Hotspot, iPhone - Personal Hotspot.
- Turn on sharing and view the network name and password.
- Select that name from the PC Wi-Fi list, enter the password, and check the website.
- Turn off sharing when you're done; it uses mobile data and battery.
USB Internet Sharing
If your phone and system support, please use a data cable and confirm the USB internet sharing.
Steps to follow
- Connect your unlocked phone with a USB cable that transfers data.
- In your phone's internet sharing settings, select USB sharing if your model supports it; iPhone may require Trusted Computer verification.
- Wait for the network to appear on the computer and check the website. If the option is not available, follow the model's instructions or use a Wi-Fi access point.
If the problem persists
If the access point is not visible, check the Wi-Fi band allowed by the phone and the limit of connected devices. USB mode requires a data cable and phone confirmation; the connection may be restricted by the operator.
